…should I go for a swim before breakfast? It certainly is tempting to walk down to the lake over the dew wet meadow, to feel the first warming sun rays on my skin – a comforting shiver when I dive into the crystal clear silky water... maybe it would be even more refreshing if I go for a run beforehand? When could I better experience these morning feelings in the forest? Regardless, I cuddle into my warm fine down quilt, listen to the sound of frogs croaking that is only interrupted by the birds singing and the gentle setting of the breakfast tables on the terrace.
The breakfast eggs with fried bacon, fresh garden mint, the Darjeeling or the Muesli! – everything just tastes so much better. I would come back just for breakfast in the sun. It is hard not to think of lunch already. A salad with fried chicken or pasta with fresh tomatoes on this mystic spot under the apple tree.

And in between? A round of golf on the nearby golf course Finkenstein Castle. On the other hand there are so many enticing
mountain bike tracks to discover, I was wanting to put my new mountain bike to the test anyway. Or a slightly easier workout?
Nordic walking through the woods, even though I am not all too familiar with these sticks yet.

Sometimes nothing is more irresistible than taking a Siesta on one of the great Garpa deckchairs with comfortable cushions
in this paradise-like garden as the sun shimmers through the canopy of the mighty trees.
If the clouds should move in I can finally try out the lakeside sauna and turn on Keith Jarrett! However, for tonight’s dinner
(my favourite: ‘Tauern’ lamb!) I have my bottle of Brancaia opened well ahead of time and will end an exquisite five
course dinner with a Montecristo opposite the postcard like panorama of the Mittagskogel in the sunset. Then we’ll sit
until late under the starry sky – this is how you enjoy the summer!
I did not think it would be possible to combine such uncompromising quality driven perfectionism with attentive cordiality
and ease.
